Meet the Founder
Coronado Psych was founded by Dr. Rika Tanaka with the mission to provide expert psychological care to the community. Mission Valley and Central San Diego residents can now access the same high-quality care, as Coronado Psych offers services to all of San Diego.
Dr. Tanaka provides therapy services to young adults, adults, and seniors. Her current specialties are in helping people cope with anxiety, depression, life transitions, health concerns, grief, and more. She is experienced at providing remote psychotherapy through secure video-conferencing or telephone.
